在搬家人员未到之前，将猫关在一个安全牢靠又通风的箱子里，最好使用专用的猫咪包，并在箱包里放上带有它熟悉气味的小垫子和玩具。这样既可防止它出走，又可避免它躲在某个包装箱或角落里，为找它而大费周折。
Before the movers arrive, keep the cat in a safe, airy box. It's better to use a special kit bag and put cushions and toys with its familiar smell in the bag. This prevents it from running away and hiding in a packing box or corner, which makes it difficult to find.

在去新家的路上，为了避免因惊吓而逃跑，猫咪应该随主人的车一起走，运输过程中仍应呆在属于它的箱包里。
On the way to the new home, in order to avoid running away because of fright, the cat should follow the owner's car and stay in its bags during transportation.

After arriving at the new home, the kitten will be released after all the relocators and relatives and friends have left. And close all doors and windows and places where there are security risks, because frightened cats often hide in hidden corners that make them feel safe.

如果您的猫咪胆子特别小，就可以先将猫限制在一个房间内，把它的便溺盆、饮食盆、玩具和睡毯都放在该房间，主人与它一起分享几天宁静的时光，允许它四处探索。猫咪会走遍每个角落，并在家具上擦身体，用气味标示属于自己的领地。
If your cat is very timid, you can confine the cat to a room first. Put its bedpan, eating basin, toys and sleeping blankets in the room. The owner shares a few days of quiet time with the cat and allows it to explore around. Cats will walk around every corner, wipe their bodies on furniture and mark their territory with scent.
